Peyronie's disease affects 10% of AMAB (assigned male at birth) globally and physiotherapy applications are a new frontier in allied health care, with evidence-based treatment protocols to assist. Jo aims to share her unique clinical & research experiences to improve men's health globally.

About Dr. Jo Milios, PhD, PT, MACP
Dr. Jo Milios is an Australian physiotherapist specializing in men’s health, particularly in pelvic health and urological conditions. She has extensive experience and has conducted an RCT in treating Peyronie’s disease (PD), a condition characterized by fibrous scar tissue in the penis, leading to curvature, pain, and erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Milios advocates for early intervention using physiotherapy, including penile rehabilitation, therapeutic ultrasound, shockwave and traction therapy, to improve outcomes and reduce the impact of PD.
She also emphasizes patient education and holistic management strategies, integrating exercise and lifestyle modifications to support men affected by this condition. Her work contributes significantly to advancing conservative treatment approaches and has been published in academic journals, presented at international conferences over the past decade.
